William Acheson
The following, regarding William Acheson, was extracted from the book, History of Washington County, Pennsylvania with Biographical Sketches of Many of Its Pioneers and Prominent Men (Boyd Crumrine, editor):

     William Acheson bought lands now owned by Joseph Cowden.  He had three children, who all emigrated.  he sold a part of the farm to one Stephenson, who sold to Cowden.  A part was sold to Benjamin Fisher.
